Peterson Family History DVD for reunion

Hi Susie,

I was wondering you might pass this information out to all the Petersons on your email list. For the Leonard T Peterson family reunion in Baltimore over Thanksgiving, I've put together a DVD for the family. The first part are Uncle Art's family films and narration from 1934-1958, which your mother introduced and helped put together. The other parts are related to Leonard's life and family, his service in the military and part of his perspective on growing up in Minnesota.

What I've done is put the DVD up on the cloud which anyone with a DVD burner will be able to create on their systems. I've also put up some cover art work that may or may not be useful. A .png file with the raw image, a DiscCover file which is also used with Toast Titanium, and the DVD called UncleArt.dmg

I am making these files available for 30 days. I cannot vouch for the download speed or if I will overrun my bandwidth limits.. If it isn't convenient to download the files, I could make could upload them to something like cafepress for people to buy a copy for a nominal charge (whatever they charge for sending dvds)…

Disc Cover art work file: https://files.me.com/jefferis/0xuixq

Here are instructions on burning a disk on the Mac:

Windows users are on your own :-) but here are some resources:

I would still like to put on DVD your mom's Peterson Family History book for the descendants if anyone can locate the master book files. I dread scanning it all in!

The DVD is autoplay and loops. I created it this way because we are planning to use it as a continuous play during the reunion. However, it can be controlled with standard dvd controls…

Hi Charlotte and Jo Jo,

I spent the past week putting together a DVD of the family history that will do a continuous play (loop). It has on it Uncle Arthur's narration of the early family movies from 1936 – 58, I excerpted Grandpa's life story from tape to narrate Hawaii to DC, and put in Mary Jo's 50th video, some family gatherings from 1970's and Grandpa's funeral video.

To whom should I send this if you want to play it at the reunion?

Love

Jeff
